Exhibition Gallop For Shooting To Win

Peter and Paul Snowden will saddle up their stable star at Randwick on Saturday but he won't be racing for prize money.
Caulfield Guineas winner Shooting To Win will be one of four Group One winners taking part in exhibition gallops on the Australia Day Cup program.
Golden Rose hero Hallowed Crown will work with a partner while the Gai Waterhouse-trained pair of Diamond Drille and Hampton Court will also spar between races.
Peter Snowden has opted to give Shooting To Win a solo gallop and the strapping colt will have at least one more barrier trial before he resumes in the Hobartville Stakes on February 21.
"He's a beautiful horse who's in good order and he looks well," Snowden said.
"I just needed to keep the work up to him.
"This sort of thing all helps and it's a good surface to work on."
The Snowdens will also saddle up at least two horses who will be chasing cheques - That's A Good Idea in the Carrington Stakes and Choice We Had in the Hyland Race Colours Handicap.
Stablemate Snippets Land is first emergency for the final race.
That's A Good Idea is searching for his first black-type win after narrowly failing to notch it over 1200m last start at Gosford when he was beaten a half-head by Ball Of Muscle.
He steps up to 1400m for the first time in 15 months and Snowden expects the extra journey to suit a horse he believes is on the verge of another victory.
"His last start said it all. He was all but there bar a bob of the head," Snowden said.
"He did win over 1400 early in his career, not at this level, but I think he's ready to go there now."
Former Queenslander Choice We Had will be having his fourth start for the Snowdens and is striving to land his first metropolitan win in Sydney.
The colt has been thereabouts at his past two runs and didn't have much luck when fourth to the smart Gold Seventy Seven at Rosehill on January 3.
