Frankie's No Chicken - But He's Got the Pox

Brilliant international jockey Frankie Dettori has been forced to miss the mount on the brilliant galloper Sakhee in France this weekend because of chicken pox.

The star jumping jock was hoping to have been fit to ride the colt in the Prix Gontaut-Biron at Deauville on Saturday.

With Dettori out of the mix after suffering chicken pox for the second time, Godolphin have found an able replacement in Richard Hills.

Ted Durcan will be aboard the stables other runner Sydenham, a Melbourne Cup entrant, who'll be used in France as a pacemaker.

Sakhee has not raced since finishing third in the Dubai World Cup. Just a few months earlier he scored a brilliant win in the Arc at Longchamp in France.
