Race 1 – CLASS 5 HANDICAP - 1300 metres:

M Abe was unable to ride Vidal at his declared MRW (53.5 kg), as there were no other suitable riders available he was permitted to fulfil his engagement.

M Abe was fined $100 (NT91c) for failing to ride VIDAL at his declared MRW.

Race 2 – CLASS 3 HANDICAP - 1000 metres:

When the gates opened HOT MAGIC jumped awkwardly and lost ground.  At the 650 m MODERN GLORY lost its near fore plate.  At the top of the straight TWENTYONE GUN bumped LOADED VICE.  After the event the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon reported LOADED VICE suffered a laceration to its near hind frog.
