On arrival at the course LIAISE was found to have injured itself and was subsequently scratched at 12.55pm.

When the gates opened STUN GUN was slow into stride.

Rounding the 1000 metres turn HOT ASH SLAY had a tendency to lay out taking CATHALOOK out onto TAWNY PULSE turning that geldings hindquarters out.  Shortly afterwards CATHALOOK had to be checked when it became tight between those two runners.
