NT 1: CLASS D HANDICAP 1400 METRES 7 STARTERS
KOHATON (G Lefoe) jumped outwards as start effected. Correct Weight was delayed when the rider of GO BRAGH (S Burrows) and the trainer of the horse Mr G CARIGE requested to view the photo finish. After viewing the photo and consulting with Stewards, Correct Weight was declared on Judges numbers.
1ST LOCKMASTER 2ND GO BRAGH 3RD KELTIC KID
NT 3 3YO CLASS 3 HANDICAP 1200 METRES 5 STARTERS
PRISMATIC REEF (S Burrows) jumped inwards onto TJILPI (T Norton). EDGE TO EDGE (P Johnson) knuckled over at the start. MURPHY'S PRIZE (B Cornell) dwelt as start effected losing some ground. Approaching the 600 metre mark MURPHY'S PRIZE (B Cornell) who was inclined to over race had to be eased off the heels of EDGE TO EDGE (P Johnson). Subsequent to the race jockey B CORNELL, rider of MURPHY'S PRIZE stated that he might have been denied a fair start. After viewing the film of the start Stewards declared that MURPHY'S PRIZE had been afforded a fair start.
1ST EDGE TO EDGE 2ND CROWN PACIFIC 3RD TJILPI
NT 5: CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1200 METRES 5 STARTERS
COVET'S GEM (P Johnson) reared as start effected losing about 15 lengths. Subsequent to the race Stewards viewed the film of the start of the race and it was confirmed that COVET'S GEM had been afforded a fair start and correct weight was declared.
1ST NAPPA 2ND PUNK 3RD BOGHASI
NT 7: CLASS 5 HANDICAP 1200 METRES 6 STARTERS
Subsequent to the race Stewards ordered a veterinary examination of STYLISH GAMBLER who had performed poorly in the race. The Veterinarian reported that the horse had pulled up showing respiratory distress but revealed no lameness. Stewards will inform trainer MR K LAMPRECHT that a veterinary certificate of fitness will be required before the horse starts again.

Trainer K LAMPRECHT was fined the sum of $50 under NT56(c) - Failing to lodge an amended Stable Return by the prescribed time for STYLISH GAMBLER.
