Shortly after the start BELLO DIVISTA shifted out taking AWASH out onto CALABRIA.

Near the 1000 metres AWASH was tightened for room by CUZMAN (P Denton) which shifted in.  P Denton was notified that in future he must ensure he leaves sufficient room for other runners.

Rounding the turn AWASH had a tendency to lay out.

Near the 750 metres the saddle on MADE DOWN UNDER began to shift, it continued to shift until near the 500 metres where rider P Crich was dislodged.
