Jockey GARRY LEFOE (Kohaton) was given permission to ride 1kg over. Approaching the 800 metre mark SIR ROMEO (Barry Huppatz had to ease momentarily as GERRARD (Adrian Robinson) shifted inwards. GERRARD (Adrian Robinson) wanted to lay in the stages of the race. KOHATON (Gary Lefoe) layed out most of the race.
