When the gates opened CRAFT CLUB was slow to begin and then raced greenly throughout.
Mr S Brown, trainer of CRAFT CLUB was fined $20 for using club colours on that gelding.

When the gates opened ARNSIDE was slow to begin and CALIGULA stumbled shortly after the start.
Approaching the winning post CALIGULA and JEREMIAH BULLFROG came together.

RACE SIX CLASS 4 HCP – 15OO M
Over the concluding stages STUBBS had a tendency to shift ground which necessitated its rider S Leckey (a) to stop riding and straighten his mount.
Ms L Edwards, representing Mr A Trengrove, trainer of POETIC TROUBADOR and STUBBS was notified that if Mr Trengrove was to be away and/or not present at the races he must ensure that he completes and lodges with the stewards the appropriate authorisation form.

Approaching the 1200 metres RODIN and ENTITLEMENT were tightened for room between ROCKHOUND which had shifted in and FULL GALLOP which shifted out slightly to avoid the heels of GUNNEL.
Prior to correct weight being declared, D Bates, rider of RODIN requested to view the stewards patrol film.
