CENTRE MUSIC (B Huppatz) jumped in the air as start effected resulting in the mare being slow away.

PRISMATIC REEF (S Burrows) jumped inwards at the start bumping CHARIOT WAY (T Huish). In the straight B HUPPATZX, rider of IT'S OUR BOY had to stop riding his mount after drifting in and bumping RAJA MAHAL (G Lefoe).

NT 6: OPEN HANDICAP 1100 METRES 8 STARTERS
On jumping GO VINNIE GO (M Cornell) bumped ZILLIONAIRE (B Cornell) approaching the 200M mark. DANGER'S PRIDE (P Johnson) which was losing ground ran in sharply and hit the inside running rail. Subsequent to the race Stewards ordered a veterinary examination of that gelding. A veterinary examination revealed that DANGER'S PRIDE had injured his offside front knee. The Veterinarian recommended the horse be retired. The horse is now banned from racing under NT63(I).

Late scratching LA MEXA at 9.20am, veterinary certificate supplied. COPPER'S EDGE (G Lefoe) was slow to begin. G LEFOE, rider of COPPER'S EDGE was informed by Stewards that they expected him to show much more vigour in the final stages of a race in future.
