A veterinary certificate of soundness was presented to Stewards prior to the race by Mr GREG CARIGE, trainer of FAT LADY as requested. This race was delayed because of WILD KNIGHT having to be inspected by the Vet due to the horse becoming fractious and hurting itself. Acting upon Vet advice WILD KNIGHT was scratched at 2.07pm. Subsequent to the race, Stewards ordered a betting deduction of .35c for a win and .30c for a place on all successful wagers. FAT LADY (P Crich) shifted inward after jumping and was slow into stride. CENTRE PLAYBOY (D Stanley) was also slow into stride. Trainer LISA WHITTLE was advised by Stewards that WILD KNIGHT would have to barrier trial satisfactorily before allowing the horse to run again. Upon returning to the mounting yard CENTRE PLAYBOY was observed to have a twisted plate on its near hind.
