Mr. Berry was further advised a Veterinary Certificate of Fitness to Race would be required prior to accepting for a future event.
GENERAL:
Mr. J. Berry, Trainer of WORLDLY WAYS, advised Stewards on Friday 31 January 2003 that the mare had undergone extensive veterinary testing including an endoscope which revealed no abnormalities. It was the opinion that its poor performance was due to the mare taking in wind behind for which WORLDLY WAYS has now been operated on.
