OUR COMET (B. Vale) was very fractious in the gates.

R. Barone, rider of DANGER CHARGER, reported his mount changed stride in the vicinity of the 600 metres and was reluctant to stride out for the remainder of the race. DANGER CHARGER underwent a Veterinary examination and was found to be lame in the off fore hoof.

RACE 4 – TONY’S TUNA TUMBY BAY CUP – 1800 metres:

RACE 5 – SEABREEZE HOTEL / LEN HARRIS MEMORIAL / SABIS CLASS D HANDICAP – 1100 metres:

Stewards questioned R. Faehr into the reasons for him being doubly engaged on KASHMIR KING and RUDI’S JOY. R. Faehr’s explanations were accepted by Stewards.

In the vicinity of the 600 metres STAARCOUX (B. Vale) shifted out, resulting in RUDI’S JOY (R. Faehr) being forced to ease. B. Vale was reminded of his obligations when shifting ground.

GENERAL:

B. Dunn’s explanation regarding her being overweight was accepted by Stewards and no action was taken.
