RACE 2 - JASOL BEER HYGIENE CLASS 5 HANDICAP - 1300 metres Cont’d

Correct Weight for this event was delayed in being semaphored to allow J. O’Connor, rider of the fourth placegetter, to view the official Stewards’ head-on patrol film of the finish. After doing so, in conjunction with Stewards, he lodged an objection against BY INVITATION ONLY (S. Price) being declared the second placegetter on the grounds of alleged interference at the 200 metres and again over the final 100 metres. After taking evidence from all parties, on viewing the official patrol film of the race and acting on their own observations, Stewards dismissed J. O’Connor’s objection.
