The start of this race was delayed due to FLIPPEN proving difficult to load. Stewards withdrew FLIPPEN at 1 p.m. Ms. A. Morrison, Trainer of FLIPPEN, was advised that a repetition of the filly’s behaviour would lead to action being taken against it.
RACE 3 - WEST END / LOCK HOTEL CLASS 6 HANDICAP - 1000 metres:
On jumping away CANADIAN COMET (J. Burgess) shifted out at the same time as PELIGRO (K. Louca) shifted in, resulting in POSSUM DIXON (N. Stone) being inconvenienced.
