Over the concluding stages MUSGITAL (B. Dunn) shifted in, resulting in SHAVINGS OF GOLD (K. Stra) to ease momentarily. B. Dunn was reminded of her obligations and in future to stop riding and straighten her mount.

RACE 2 – CALTEX WEST COAST FUEL / SABIS MAIDEN PLATE – 1000 metres:

ROSSIDA (B. Dunn) was slow to begin.

RACE 3 – PENONG STATION / QUALITY WOOL / CALTEX TRUCKSTOP  HANDICAP – 1000 metres:

Stewards questioned B. Dunn regarding her being unable to make the allotted weight for ALARM BELLE. B. Dunn was advised that future breaches would result in a penalty being imposed.

RACE 4 – PENONG HOTEL/WEST END DRAUGHT PENONG CUP – 1600 metres:
