Restricted Events Prove Popular in Adelaide

In the four city race meetings since December 21, 11 restricted gallopers have won considerable prizemoney in the city without having to forego racing through their classes.
The $15,000 races, where first prize is $9950 (just below the $10,000 cap), allows the winner to progress to the next class and, for the purposes of the Rules of Racing, are not considered metropolitan winners.
Two of the winners, Tennessee Royal and Social Glow, which are both SABIS qualified, also picked up SABIS bonuses worth $8400 each to connections. Social Glow has now won more than $45,000 in prizemoney but is eligible for Class 2 races.
