Tourneur, Neve Suspended At Morphettville Parks

Jockeys Dominic Tourneur and Tillie Neve have been suspended for careless riding following Wednesday’s meeting at Morphettville Parks.

Tourneur was suspended after causing severe interference in the Marsh Maiden Plate (1400m) aboard odds-on favourite Ocsmepop.

Struggling to gain clear running towards the rear of the field, Tourneur pushed into the clear at the top of the straight when insufficiently clear of High'n'rye causing that galloper to become unbalanced.

After pleading guilty to the careless riding charge, Tourneur was suspended for six meetings which will commence on May 4 till May 16.

Meanwhile Neve was suspended for four meetings after shifting out in the final 250m of the $10,000 Boag's Draught Class 1 Handicap (1550m) aboard Target Explorer.

She pleaded guilty to the charge with her suspension to commence with immediate effect until May 6.
