Celebration Rides For Lever

Broadway HarmonyA midweek treble has all but turned Saturday's Morphettville meeting into a day of celebration for jockey Chad Lever.

Lever will take a four-win lead into the final meeting of the season as he prepares to go back-to-back in the Adelaide title.

He rode three winners on Thursday to ensure rival Simon Price would have to produce an unlikely last-day haul to snatch the premiership.

Lever, who has ridden 48 winners so far in 2009-10, has six rides on Saturday including a mount for Mark Kavanagh in the $80,000 Reliance Petroleum Stakes (1050m).

Kavanagh, who holds an unassailable lead in the Adelaide trainers' premiership, will saddle up Luce Del Mare in the Listed race for two and three-year-olds.

Luce Del Mare, whose two wins have been in Adelaide, is a $17 chance in first TAB Sportsbet markets.

In an open end-of-season feature, Victorian-trained two-year-old fillies Broadway Harmony and Martika share favouritism at $6.

With both fillies to carry 52.5kg, apprentice riders have been called on despite being unable to use their claims.

Jarrod Fry rides Broadway Harmony for Darren Weir while Taylor Lovelock-Wiggins is on Martika for Peter Moody.
