Well every good day must come to an end Ernie Snr, Terry and "Butch" Marchant visiting from Rosebud waited patiently for a result from son and brother jockey Ernie Marchant. All day he teased them with minor placings but he did produce in the last. Alice In Toyland (Toy Pindari-Pluscious) was turned out in superb order by Terry Wild Jnr. She is a big strong 4yo mare with all the right stuff to go through her classes. Ernie sat off the leader until straightening then let her down to power home for a strong win in you guessed it another photo. On his return to scale he got the crowd roaring by punching the air and yelling "GO PIES" as Alice wears the black and white of his beloved Collingwood. Terry has nursed Alice along and has a nice team of young horses in work at Wangaratta.

Wangaratta will race again on Sunday November 3^rd 2002- hope to see you there.
