Kilmore Raceday to Host Classic Cars

The Kilmore Turf Club is pleased to announce that the highlight of their Lowden’s Family Race Day on Sunday October 13 will again feature Classic Cars.

Last year over fifty cars from various clubs participated by parking their vehicles on the lawn overlooking the racecourse. This year Clubs participating are The Mercedes Benz Club, The Cadillac Club, The Jowett Club, and Historical Police Transport to name a few.

"It’s a great day out for the car clubs and the cars are of great interest to the race goers" said Kilmore Turf Club, Marketing Manager, Craig Skelton. Each display vehicle receives two admission tickets.

There will be nine races on the program and the family theme will include live music, loads of children’s amusements, and a horse shoe pitching competition!

The day kicks off at midday with admission $12 including a race book and children are admitted free.
