Race 5 - Glenrowan Ned Kelly Siege Class 5 Cup

Brian Cox, last season's Victorian Country Trainer of the Year, had Mooball (Sanction-Anything Red) freshened up a treat to take out the 1000m sprint. He stamped himself a very good horse today showing just how versatile he can be first up. This was his 5th win in 13 starts and he has been comfortable racing in distances that vary from 1000 – 2000 m. He has now matured into a lovely horse and we will see more improvement from him throughout this preparation. Owners Helen and John McPhee have been longtime clients of Brian and Ollie Cox and it is always great to see the people who put in also get to take out.

Mooball beat Signor Pagolino (The Pug-Elizas Joy) and for 3rd we saw a triple dead heat between Perada, Snakey Bit & Uncle Andre.
