FORM FACTS
The Mayfield-Smith trained Innovation Girl seeks to become just the sixth filly to win the Ascot Vale Stakes, So Gorgeous in 2000 joining Toy Show, Surround, Rose of Kingston & Courtza. The daughter of Rubiton impressively took the Quezette Stakes last time out, So Gorgeous also winning that event prior to her Ascot Vale victory two years back. Third to Innovation Girl in the Quezette was the Blue Diamond runner-up Brief Embrace, the filly only unplaced once in her career, (6th in the Golden Slipper when trapped deep). Able Choice and Titanic Jack chased home the outstanding Bel Esprit in the McKenzie Stakes last start, Able Choice undefeated in 3 1200m outings, while Titanic Jack is out to match his sire Encosta De Lago who took this race in 1996 after also coming via the McKenzie Stakes.
