Race 1 - ANDREWS LAND AND SURF SUPER VOBIS 3YRO CLASS 1 HANDICAP. - 1220 metres

During the running of the race the saddle on "Striking Charge" shifted back placing its rider M Connick at a disadvantage.

Rounding the home turn and in the straight ""Reface" had a tendency to hang out.

Race 2 - ORBOST TRAVEL - TOP PUB MAIDEN PLATE - 1100 metres

In the middle stages of the race the saddle on "Toracy" shifted forward placing its rider Jason Benbow at a disadvantage for the remainder of the race. Near the 600 metres "Toracy" which was hanging out shifted out and tightened "Shirley's Whisper" out on to "Apache Blue".

Race 3 - SNOWY RIVER MAIL/FOOD-WAY CLASS 3 HANDICAP - 2150 metres

Race 4 - SNOWY RIVER VIDEO - CAMPING WORLD CLASS 1 HANDICAP - 1100 metres

After being placed in the stall "Acetate" broke through the front of the gates and trotted a short distance before being returned to the barrier.

Near the 100 metres, "Town Watcher" had to be eased when tightened for room between "Acetate" and "Leisure" which shifted out slightly away from ""Café Racer (NZ)" which initially shifted out slightly.

Race 5 - ORBOST SNOWY RIVER CUP - 1100 metres:

At the barrier "Fleur De Moi" was inspected by the Clubs Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to run. When the gates opened "Rich Finale" knuckled.

This race appeared in the race book as the Orbost Snowy River cup when infact it should have appeared as the Orbost Snowy River Cup Class Four Handicap.

Subsequent to the race the Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that "Fear the Storm" was showing no abnormality.

Race 6 -ORBOST AUTO ELECTICS - HELLA MAIDEN PLATE - 2150 metres:

When the gates opened "Quick Nip" knuckled . Also when the gates opened "Vice Chairman" and "Aloha Joffa" come together due to both horses shifting ground slightly. Near the 400 metres, "Grinding Away" had to be eased off the heels of "Bellaile".

Race 7 - PERRY'S BUSES - RUSSELLS BUTCHERS CLASS 2 HANDICAP - 1500 metres:
