Bede On Hand for Hennessy's Caulfield Gallop

r3bedemurray.jpg (8377 bytes)Leading Kembla Grange based trainer Bede Murray was in Melbourne this morning to see Half Hennessy work at Caulfield.

The last start Sydney winner trotted a lap before working off from the 1400 metre mark and sprinting home the final 600 metres.

Murray has confirmed that last season’s Sydney premiership winning jockey Corey Brown will ride the exciting three-year-old in Sunday’s Group Three Carlton Draught Guineas Prelude over 1400 metres.

Another highly regarded galloper to be put through his paces at Caulfield today was the Lee Freedman trained record breaking yearling Don Eduardo.

The AJC Derby winner pleased Freedman as he worked a strong 1600 metres after spending some time at the family’s farm at St Andrews.
