The Moonee Valley meeting threw up a number of top runs with the following horses worth following in the near future.
Race 1: MVRC Saves Water Handicap (1200m)
Hollowlea was the best of good things beaten running a bottler albeit never being happy with the tempo.
Rather than spit the bit, Hollowlea went to the line with his head hard against his chest.
Race 6: Dominant Hiskens Cup (1514m)
Pinnacles nearly fell and still finished thereabouts, enough said.
Racing in super form and should win at his next outing.
Race 7: Don Abell Cup (2500m)
Red Buttons was under pressure a fair way from home but unlike his last few starts where he has capitulated he faught on strongly this time which suggests to me Kent has him almost right.
Beat Tinanmou first up and is about ready to repeat the dose.
