Having the services of apprentice Libby Hopwood and from Private Indy, an A.P. Indy mare and sired by Rock of Gibraltar, Coquelet raced in a mid field position before going on to record a two and a half length win over the Simon Price piloted Darren Magro trained Arctic Cash $6.50.

Three-year-old gelding Meezaah returned an irregularity to the substance ‘Ibuprofen’ after being beaten as favourite in the $32,000 Schweppes Tonic Handicap (1000m) at Morphettville Parks on September 4.

Meezaah finished fifth after being beaten five lengths by Belfast Boy.

Prior to his run in Adelaide, Meezaah broke his maiden status over five furlongs at Geelong Synthetic on August 20.

An inquiry into the circumstances of the positive swab will be held in Adelaide on November 15 at 2:30pm.
